Dave Christie started his real estate career in 2000 and joined Rêve Realtors in 2021. His philosophy is that the best real estate decisions are made when the head and the gut agree. Explains Dave, “Data is important. Square footage, number of beds and baths, price per square foot – they’re all important. But if you don’t feel it, none of it matters.” And he’s all about helping current and future New Orleanians find what the right home feels like.

Since earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University, Dave has amassed years of experience working with both buyers and sellers to make what can be a stressful and overwhelming process a lot less so. Along the way, he has received multiple awards of excellence and rave reviews from clients. With a focus on the Bywater and Marigny neighborhoods, Dave says he loves helping people find happiness where they live.

Known as honest, curious, and positive, Dave says that finding a home that matches not just a client’s search criteria, but how they live, is what’s fulfilling. Civic-minded and involved in the community, Dave volunteers with Culture Aid NOLA and as an election commissioner. When not working, he enjoys travelling and exploring places new places -- whether it’s Alabama or Albania. Dave and his wife Mindy live in the Bywater with their dog Rose and their cat ZuZu.

While buying a property can be a roller coaster, Dave's expertise and generous nature gave me the confidence that we'd find the best outcome. And we did. My straight-talking co-signer said that Dave is the best real estate agent he's worked with.
